Tracey Tuhi – CEO
Following attaining a law degree specialising in restorative justice, Tracey quickly moved into leadership and management roles with local and national organisations in the health and wellbeing sector in both the North and South Islands. Tracey is passionate about using her leadership and systems management expertise to empower flourishing communities, and is excited about the opportunity for Gateway to continue being at the leading edge of empowering our community members to achieve their own dreams and aspirations.
Outside of work, Tracey loves to spend time with family, attempt to grow vegetables and enjoy the fruits that Nelson / Tasman has to offer including the eye popping scenery
Jaap Noteboom – General Manager
Jaap began his working life as an engineer, before developing a passion for social work and making a positive difference in the community. Jaap has now had 25 years of experience in the social sector in the Netherlands and in New Zealand, including significant leadership roles in local and national health and wellbeing organisations. Jaap is Gateway’s clinical leader, and is passionate about unlocking potential and seeing people with challenges achieve their own goals and aspirations.
In his spare time, he loves working on his small farm, enjoying nature, motorcycling, and spending time with his family.
Paul Milson – Youth Services Manager
Paul has had 25 years of experience working with children and youth, including teaching and leadership roles in education and more recently fifteen years in a growing organisation in the non-profit sector. In his role as Youth Services manager, Paul oversees Gateway’s community support service for youth with mental health challenges, as well as Snapshot services for at-risk youth in Nelson Tasman, Marlborough, and West Coast, and brings strategic and communications strengths to the management team.
In his spare time, he loves watching and playing sport (only just!), enjoying the great outdoors, and hanging out with his family.
Vicki Barton – Adult Services Manager
Vicki has over 30 years of experience in nursing and leadership roles in the Wellington and Nelson regions. Overseeing Gateway’s adult services, including community support in Nelson Tasman and Marlborough, and supported activities service in Motueka, Vicki brings significant Clinical experience and QMS strengths to the organisation.
In her spare time, Vicki enjoys time with her family and looking after her twin dogs (a labrador-collie and a chihuahua).
