Adult Community Services
Who is It For?
Community support services are for people living or transitioning back into the community who have experienced challenges regaining or maintaining their mental wellbeing. Service provided in Nelson, Motueka and Marlborough.
How we do it
Gateway staff are all trained to utilize a practice frame work to assist the people we work for to identify issues that are preventing them from living well with their illness or addiction. We work in partnership with a Person and their Case Managers to set and meet the goals they have set to live their lives in a meaningful way.
We can assist people with learning a new living skill, developing social networks, attending appointments and assist with benefit and housing coordination. We are also able to help to explore work or study options.
